A number of research firms have changed their ratings and price targets for Party City Holdco (NASDAQ: PRTY):

• 8/18/2015 – Party City Holdco was downgraded by analysts at Zacks from a “buy” rating to a “hold” rating. According to Zacks, “Party City Holdco Inc. is involved in designs, manufactures, contracts for manufacture and distributes party goods, including paper and plastic tableware, metallic and latex balloons, Halloween and other costumes, accessories, novelties, gifts and stationery. It also operates specialty retail party supply stores primarily in the United States and Canada. Party City Holdco Inc. is based in Elmsford, New York. “
• 8/17/2015 – Party City Holdco had its “buy” rating reaffirmed by analysts at Deutsche Bank. They now have a $ 25.00 price target on the stock.

Youth-oriented discount retailer Five Below plans to open its first Evansville store next month.

The store will be in the East Side Evansville Pavilion shopping center anchored by Target. It is set to open Sept. 25.

“We’re just really, really happy to be there and we can’t wait to finally open our doors,” said Five Below Marketing Manager Dana Zuppo.

Five Below sells a variety of what it describes as “trend-right, extreme-value merchandise,” including sports items, tech accessories, arts and craft items, fashion accessories, party goods, candy and seasonal items.

Its target customers are preteens and teens, and all merchandise is priced at $ 5 or less. The retailer does not sell its merchandise online.

The Evansville store will mark Five Below’s entry into Southern Indiana. The chain currently has 11 Indiana stores, the closest of which to Evansville is in Terre Haute.

Five Below also has 29 stores in Illinois, including one in Carbondale; and three in Kentucky, including one in Bowling Green and two in Louisville.

Based in Philadelphia, Five Below incorporated in 2002 and went public in 2012.

The company is in expansion mode and has added dozens of new stores in recent years.

The company opened 60 new stores in 2013; and 62 in 2014.
