Jelli Goods branding company expands with gift boutique

When Ken Freeman’s wife, Julie, gave birth to their first child in 2004, Freeman designed a T-shirt for the baby that read, “Mom and Me, BFF.”

It was a gesture that ultimately resulted in the Freeman’s Deerfield-based promotional merchandising company, Jelli Goods, which is celebrating both five years in business and its new retail gift boutique at the company’s Deerfield warehouse.

“I’m a big fan of T-shirts with positive messages, and I think people enjoy expressing themselves on their clothing,” said Ken. “It’s a blank canvas for them whether it’s art or words. It’s a depiction of their personality.”

Ken, who holds a sports management degree from the University of Massachusetts, spent 14 years in sales and marketing in the promotional merchandise industry before launching Jelli Goods with his wife out of the their Lincolnshire home.

Last year, the Freemans moved their growing company to Deerfield, where four employees are based, including Ken, who handles sales…………… continues on Deerfield Review
