Starving Artist in Clarksburg Offers Unique Private Parties

The Starving Artist in Clarksburg has been at its new location on Main Street for almost a year.

Owner Bill Leaseburg said it offers many different classes.

“We do kids paint every Saturday, we do mommy and me paint for kids that are under six so that mom can paint with them and they can work on a painting together, we do Wednesday nights adult therapy we call it,” explained Leaseburg, who owns the Starving Artist with his wife, Amanda.

Leaseburg said something unique the Starving Artist offers is private parties.

“We do a lot of them actually for all kinds of things: birthdays, bachelorette parties, bachelor parties, we’ve done going away parties, and family reunions. If anyone wants to get a group together it’s something new, a new activity, and then when you’re done you have something to take home,” said Leaseburg.

Blake Robinson celebrated his eighth birthday at the Starving Artist.

In addition to cake, and party favors Robinson and his friends also took a painting class.
